Lunch Date and Concrete Cows

The littlest and the biggest and I met some friends for lunch in Mystic today. Armed with a toddler at nap time, we decided on Mystic Pizza. I figured even though it's a tourist attraction, it would be the most likely place to tolerate her erratic mood swings. Well, the pizza was delish! Bonus! And Katie was great (DJ too..ha). I'm pretty sure she's the first toddler to order a kids' pizza with broccoli and no cheese. It was so nice to see my friend Janet after 2 years, and to meet her friend Kristen too. Yay for friends!!
Mystic was pretty today - we wished we had more time to stroll and pop into the shops that Kate picked out. In case you're wondering, she chose a map/art store, an import shop where we picked 2 pretty bracelets, and then she was desperately side tracked by some cute shoes (veto by mom) and dancing to the music outside the bank.

After dropping DJ off at the farm, we picked up Rach and headed to our favorite coffee shop to get her an after school snack to fuel the homework marathon.

Here we had snacking...

Dancing...
And concrete cow petting
Now time to start the bedtime brigade. :)
